What LockRoom is

LockRoom is a virtual data room (VDR) for M&A diligence, fundraising, exits, and divestitures. It is built for boutique investment banks running sell side mandates, business brokers, and founders running their own raise or sale, with a focus on the lower middle market ($5M to $250M enterprise value).

LockRoom charges a flat rate with no per page fees, no user caps, no setup fees, and no storage overage fees on standard usage. Most enterprise data rooms do not publish a price. LockRoom does.

• Security. TLS in transit, AES 256 encryption at rest, granular permissions per buyer group, folder, and file (view or download, watermarked or original).

• Datasite. Not published. Its FAQ says pricing is customized for every transaction. Pricing model: A project quote based on scope, requirements and timeline.

• Ansarada. Published in its pricing guide, priced by data volume and term. See its guide for current figures. Pricing model: By data volume, with unlimited users. A 12 month term lowers the monthly rate.
• Firmex. Not published. Its pricing page says to get a quote. Pricing model: Single project: by data and project length. Subscription: by data volume over a year.
• iDeals. Not published. Its Core, Premier and Enterprise plans each say "Get price". Pricing model: Plan tier by projects, administrators and storage. Users unlimited.
