How do watermarks work in LockRoom?
Documents are shown as dynamic watermarked previews by default. The watermark identifies the viewer, which discourages screenshots and leaks during diligence. You choose per buyer group whether downloads are watermarked or original files.
Step by step
- Watermarked viewing is on by default for every new buyer group.
- Grant Download Watermarked to let a group keep watermarked copies.
- Grant View Original or Download Original only where clean files are required (for example, Excel models the buyer must work in).
